Deepak Chopra, author of
THE BOOK OF SECRETS:
Unlocking the Hidden Dimensions of Your Life
HARMONY BOOKS
According to Deepak Chopra, within each of
us is a book of mysteries waiting to be opened – and
when it is, the secrets of the universe will be revealed to
us. The Book of Secrets is the key to unlocking this source
of ultimate wisdom.
Chopra says the secret of love is to be
found nowhere but within us, along with the secrets of healing,
compassion, faith, and the most elusive secret of all: who
we truly are. Every child asks about the secret of existence
at one time or another, and yet we remain mysteries to ourselves.
We all want to know who to choose as a partner,
what job to take, how to teach our children well. This book,
a crystalline distillation of insights and wisdom accumulated
over the lifetime of one of the great spiritual thinkers of
our time, is an exquisite tool for discovering answers to
the most personal and fundamental questions we face, answers
that are often hidden from view, sequestered from our everyday
gaze.
In his luminous new book, Chopra illuminates
15 secrets that can open your eyes to truths that point the
way to transformation and enlightenment, among them:
• “What You Seek You Already
Know”
• “Life Hurts When It Is Unreal”
• “There Is No Time But Now"
DEEPAK CHOPRA, M.D. is one of
the best-selling authors and the founder of the Chopra Center
for Well-Being in Carlsbad, California.

Andrea Jaeger, author of
First Service:
Following God’s Calling and Finding Life’s Purpose
HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
Tennis Pro Turned Philanthropist Now
Serves Children Suffering with Cancer
Andrea Jaeger was a teenage tennis prodigy
who became the world’s second ranked female tennis player
before a career-ending shoulder injury forced her into retirement
before she reached her prime. After turning pro at the unheard
age of 14, Jaeger quickly moved up the ranks of world tennis,
defeating the best players in the world.
In First Service (April 2004), Jaeger describes
her life on the professional tennis circuit and, more importantly,
explains how she believes her life has a bigger purpose. “God
was preparing me,” says Jaeger, “not for a greater
victory on the tennis court but for a much larger purpose
of enhancing the lives of children with cancer.”
Jaeger, always a maverick for children’s
causes, sees her tennis career as the stepping-stone to fulfilling
that purpose through the organization she co-founded called
The Silver Lining Foundation. “I always felt that God
had provided me with this life, honoring my training and accomplishments,”
she says.
Realizing there was more to life than winning
tennis matches – than committing oneself to a sport
that required a selfish abandonment to “move up the
ranks” – Jaeger has used the same tenacity that
gained her victories on the court to fight for children throughout
the world. Her list of supporters reads like a Who’s
Who of entertainers and athletes: Nelson Mandela, Kevin Costner,
Paul Newman, David Robinson, John McEnroe, Cindy Crawford,
Faith Hill, Ted Forstmann, and New York City Mayor Michael
Bloomberg.

Gina Otto, author of
CASSANDRA’S ANGEL
GINA’S INK
An author, poet, and photographer, Otto
worked in film production, advertising, and the fashion industry
for 15 years. In 1995, she began speaking to groups of teenage
girls about the importance of self-perception and how it is
affected by popular culture. Cassandra's Angel, Otto’s
first book, integrates her passion for the healing arts with
her concern for young people.
Cassandra's Angel is a simple story about
a curious little girl, a story with a unique and enduring
ability to touch both children and adults at a very deep level.
It is treasured by the many female readers who have bought
the book for their children, become instant fans, and then
returned to buy it for their sisters and their friends. Otto
has also heard from fathers and grandfathers around the country
who not only identify with the story through the eyes of their
daughters and granddaughters but relate to it through their
own experiences as well.
Cassandra’s Angel Becomes a Musical
Production
In 2003, Otto turned Cassandra’s Angel
into a full-length musical production. She produced and directed
a ten-person cast and opened to rave reviews. Several theatres
and film studios are currently considering the production.
She has also produced a CD from the musical with 15 original
songs.
Barnes & Noble – Product of the
Season Award
Barnes & Noble made Cassandra’s
Angel its “recommended product of the Season”
for the 2003 Holidays in their Colorado stores. With Otto’s
help – 86 store appearances in 90 days – the book
was catapulted to record sales.
She currently travels throughout the U.S.
helping children, parents, and teachers examine how communication
patterns impact their lives and society as a whole. Otto hopes
that the story of Cassandra’s Angel will help both children
and adults remember that each person has a gift for the world,
and that life is about finding that gift and bringing it forth.
